Funders
Each of our institutions supports this concerted effort to conserve the botanical heritage of California through a variety of funding sources. Support from donors, members, and more can be leveraged to support specific grant-funded projects. Here we acknowledge the outside funding sources (foundations, organizations, and agencies) supporting the partners achieving our project goals.
Providing very specific support towards our goals, CPC distributes money from Kew Foundation America, for some of our collecting efforts. Since 2015, Kew has granted funds to CPC for rare species collections through the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership. With these granted funds CPC has supported collections made on species ranked as critically imperiled or imperiled on a global or regional scale by NatureServe (G1, S1, G2, or S2) throughout North America, including those CaPR partners have sought to protect.

Project Partners
Each of our partners contributes in many different ways. While many send staff into the field to perform the monitoring and collection making that constitutes our primary goals, others are supporting research, data sharing, prioritizing target species, and much more.
